With over 30 years experience in the racing industry M&M Competition Engines brings its years of knowledge and experience to every build. With a strong presence in SB2.2 Chevrolet market, their work ranges everywhere from small-block Ford blower combinations to class racing at Bonneville. They also do several BBC applications as well from bracket engines to all-out race combinations. Through it all the majority of engines are for drag racing applications, but they do serve the circle track and midget community as well. Located just outside of Indianapolis, it is a small "cozy" shop that has had over 30+ years of colorful history in it. From the early days of manufacturing and marketing the Torqueflite Transmissions, to providing services to several Indy car teams in the 70's, to employing some of the most famous names in drag racing that have Indiana roots. Keeping it small allows the quality control to be second to none.
It doesn’t end with engine design and building for the team at M&M. They also design and fabricate their own intake systems for naturally aspirated and blower racers alike. They provide every service that a drag racing engine could need in house for your convenience. They balance in house on their Hines balancer, valve jobs are performed on a Serdi 100, and they offer weld & repair service for all aluminum and cast iron heads and intakes. They also have a Berco 14' line-boring machine, which is used to machine needle roller cam bearing tunnels and the like. Our latest edition to the M&M family is a Millport 4-Axis CNC machining center. Not only will it CNC heads, they also plan on designing and manufacturing rocker systems for limited applications, and to take their sheet metal intake program up a notch with several billet options, CNC block machining, and much more. This machine will also serve to machine our soon to be introduced SB2.2 cast tunnel ram intake manifold (Due in July 2008). It will be available with a single 4 or dual four top option, be available CNC ported, and have deck heights ranging from 8.8 - 9.5.
